Abstract:

This discussion paper investigates women’s access to training and assistance in occupational areas considered ‘non-traditional’ in Pakistan.

A general overview of the problem and the participation of women in vocational and technical education is provided, followed by examples which have proven effective in promoting the entry of women in new occupational fields.
