Abstract:

This document outlines a further twelve TAFE National Communication Modules which have been revised by the staff of the Communication Departments of the ACT Institute of TAFE for competency-based training delivery, using the NCSP module descriptors.

These modules aim to promote the principles and practices of effective communication; to provide competency-based training necessary for people to be able to communicate effectively in a range of identified workplace situations and to provide a modular structure of communication training which will enable students to have career path mobility.

A further 5 NCSP modules will be ready to be submitted for approval in Semester 2 of 1992.

The first nine modules were notified in TD/ACT 30.33.
