Abstract:

This paper outlines the broad framework and key themes of the 1999 research program of the Monash University - ACER Centre for the Economics of Education and Training (CEET), which was funded by the Australian National Training Authority ANTA). Key research and policy issues concerning the economics of vocational education and training are identified and their implications discussed.
