The Australian National Training Authority (ANTA) made a decision to establish a network of 10 Industry Skills Councils in April 2003. The Industry Skills Councils are to partner with ANTA in providing a vital resource for industry and governments. This report presents an overview of the 10 new Industry Skills Councils including key performance measures and success indicators, business plan priorities, board memberships, training package coverage, cross industry initiatives, and associated Cooperative Research Centres.
