Abstract:

The main aim of the study was to examine the educational significance of the TRAC (Training for Retail and Commerce) initiatives, what characterised the teaching and learning they provided, how these practices were perceived by teachers and students, and what they might imply about future directions for TRAC in Tasmania.

The study gathered and analysed data from students, work-place supervisors, course co-ordinators and other key personnel participating in TRAC.
