Abstract:

This issue of the journal is entitled 'Using learning to meet the challenges of older adulthood', edited by James C. Fisher and May Alice Wolf.

In this article, Timmermann addresses what we already know about older learners and information technology, describes some exemplary programs, discusses the potential and the limitations of using computer technology for older adult learning, and considers future trends.
