Abstract:

This issue of the journal is entitled 'Using learning to meet the challenges of older adulthood', edited by James C. Fisher and May Alice Wolf.

In this paper, Eisen presents a conceptual framework for understanding current practice in the field of older adult learning. Also discussed are future directions suggested by current programming that is highly utilised and/or highly innovative.
