Way forward for vocational education and training in NSW

Abstract:

In a speech earlier this year to a national education and employment conference Dr Ken Boston, Managing Director of TAFE NSW and Director-General of the Department of Education and Training outlined his plans for improving vocational education and training (VET). This article gives a brief outline of his plans in the areas of curriculum, delivery, teaching, assessment, reporting and flexible pathways.
