Abstract:

This is a response to 'All our futures' or 'the Smithers Report' and an associated television program. The reponse points to lack of evidence and solid research behind the report and the program, resulting in erroneous information and conclusions. It was sent to those responsible for the Channel 4 program in the hope that the public would be given more accurate information about the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) system.
