Abstract:

This manual accompanies the Northern Adelaide Plains Irrigation Management Course, a joint initiative of Primary Industries and Resources SA and the Northern Adelaide Plains Water Resources Planning Committee. The course is designed to inform farmers and other irrigators about reducing drainage to the groundwater in the Plains area and to use irrigation water more efficiently. The course is a study in soils, irrigation systems and water consumption and using irrigation equipment and technology more effectively. The manual is also available in Vietnamese, indexed at TD/WELL 82.47.
