Abstract:

Curriculum Perspectives is a quarterly journal focusing on all matters relating to curriculum development, evaluation and theory. It is published by the Australian Curriculum Studies Association Incorporated (ACSA). There are two editions: the journal edition, normally published in April and September and the newsletter edition normally published in June and November. This issue includes articles on the curriculum framework in New Zealand; professional development for teachers and the national curriculum agenda. This issue, in the section 'Point and counterpoint', examines curriculum directions and priorities in the twenty-first century.
