Abstract:

This plan sets out the strategic directions and priorities of the public sector industry in New South Wales (NSW) for vocational education and training (VET) over the three years 2000-2002. The contents of the plan include: executive summary; overview of the public sector industry in NSW; and NSW public sector VET needs, priorities strategies and recommendations. The NSW Public Sector Industry Training Advisory Body covers the wider public sector in NSW, including the Commonwealth, State and Local Governments and police and fire sectors.
