Abstract:

Development of the Internet has opened opportunities for implementation of learning materials on the new medium. To date, most attempts have been direct transfers of text based materials from print based media.

This paper looks at a number of alternative strategies that have been compiled by the Information Technology Training Division of TAFE NSW to make better use of the capabilities of the Internet.

The last two pages are a summary table of Internet teaching tools, where examples of the teaching tools or relevant information can be found on the Internet and the software required or where it is available from.
