Abstract:

Australian Jobs 2008 provides up-to-date information about jobs, including a guide to the occupations and industries in which Australians work. It also highlights jobs with good prospects and includes information about State/Territory and regional labour markets. Australian Jobs also incorporates sections which assist readers access employment services, Australian apprenticeships and higher education. This edition focuses on regional labour markets, using data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics 2006 Census of Population and Housing.
