Abstract:

Mentoring is one approach to work-based training which has received increasing attention in recent times and offers enterprises and trainers considerable flexibility. This article describes the use of mentoring in the work-based delivery of Certificate courses for the chemicals and engineering industries.

The case study is part of a special feature on work-based learning in this issue of Training Agenda.
