This web page contains details of and links to documents relating to policies which have been developed to support the Northern Territory (NT) Government's goals in vocational education and training. Such policies are chiefly for the whole employment and training sector although a small proportion of them are to underpin the internal working arrangements of the Employment and Training Division of the NT Department of Education, Employment and Training (DEET) and to enable the strategic priorities of DEET to be implemented and to give substance to agreements made by the NT Government to national reforms of the vocational education and training (VET) sector.
