Author: Osborn, P. A.

Abstract:

The impetus for this research was the increased overt stress levels of staff at one Institute of TAFE coincident with organisational change processes, management re-structure and culture change. The argument posited in this thesis is for the inclusion of training in people skills in Management Staff Development programs. Recommendations are made for these skills to be included at the micro level for both management and staff so as to decrease stress levels and increase staff morale.
