Abstract:
This plan, produced by the Food Industry Training Council, sets out the strategic directions and priorities of the food processing industry in New South Wales for vocational education and training (VET) for the three years 2000-2002. The contents of the plan include: industry vision 2000-2002; industry profile; regional profiles; training and skills development; industry recommendations and research priorities. The Food Industry Training Council covers the food and pharmaceutical training industries in NSW. It does not deal with primary production, nor retailing and food preparation.
