Abstract:

This book, which is part of a series on transition topics, is aimed at teachers of students with disabilities. It provides information, tools and strategies with which to develop activities that will prepare students for full employment. Topics covered include employment options and opportunities for people with disabilities, guidelines for establishing instructional priorities for students with disabilities, assessing and preparing students for work, and information on relevant regulations and laws in the USA is also provided.
