Abstract:

This plan sets out the strategic directions and priorities of the Property Services Industry in New South Wales for vocational education and training (VET) over the three years 2000-2002. The plan consists of four reports:

Report 1: Property Services an industry profile;

Report 2: Property Services VET profile (information and advice);

Report 3: Property Services ITAB business plan;

Report 4: Property Services executive summary.

The contents of Report 1: Property Services an industry profile include: the scope of the Property Services Industry; profile of the industry; major factors impacting on industry sectors; significant issues; industry sector analysis and industry and regional profiling.

The Property Services Industry includes the following areas: parking services; services to air transport; residential property operators; commercial property operators and developers; real estate agents; non-financial asset investors; motor vehicle hiring; other transport equipment leasing; plant hiring or leasing; architectural services; surveying services; consultant engineering services; security and investigative (except police services; pest control services; cleaning services; business services necessary for auction room operation, auctioning service and valuation service; gardening services; waste disposal service and management; and private households employing staff.
