Australian vocational education and training: Indigenous students 1996: an overview

This publication is designed for those who would like an overview of the participation of Indigenous Australians (those students who have identified themselves as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander origin) in vocational education and training (VET) in Australia. The data are taken from the 1996 national vocational education and training data collection maintained by the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER). The report provides tables and some commentary on Indigenous students, the courses they undertook, and the module outcomes they achieved.
