Abstract:

This learning activities material has been developed for use within the subject `Technology fundamentals'. The aim of this subject is to introduce information technology through the elementary care of a microcomputer system. Topics include: electrical safety, plugs and cables, components, types of computers, installation of hardware software, fault finding and maintenance.
