Key competencies for work, education and life

Abstract:

This article gives a brief overview of the key competencies developed by the Mayer Committee and presented in the Mayer Report. These were developed to address the need for students to leave school with the ability to participate effectively in a rapidly changing work environment. Future directions for the incorporation of the key competencies are briefly outlined.
