Abstract:

This plan sets out the strategic directions and priorities of the retail, wholesale, hairdressing, beauty and other service industries in New South Wales (NSW) for vocational education and training (VET) over the three years 2001-2003. The contents of the plan include: an introduction to the Wholesale, Retail and Associated Service Industries Training Council (WRAPS); industry profiles of the retail, floristry, wholesale, hairdressing and beauty industries; current industry trends and issues for 2000-2003; and VET issues for 2000-2003.
