Abstract:

This learning materials book has been designed for Indigenous people by the Kimberley College of TAFE in Western Australia. Indigenous people guided the development of the book through consultation at all stages of its development, by providing editorial review and criticism, and by trying out the book in 'a real life' training program before it was published.

The course is made up of the following topics: (1) planning a training session; (2) delivering a training session; and (3) assessing, evaluating and administering. Assessment tasks and a list of additional resources are also included. The course itself is a unit in the 'Training Package for Assessment and Workplace Training', which is a nationally accredited and recognised set of qualifications.
