Abstract:

Although Ontario's government has introduced a range of policies and programs to try to close gaps in participation postsecondary education (PSE) by underrepresented groups - students who are first in their family to attend PSE, students from low-income backgrounds, Indigenous students, and francophone students - the research base behind an equity of access agenda remains incomplete and disconnected.
