Abstract:

The European Quality Assurance Reference Framework (EQARF) aims to improve the quality of the various national systems of vocational education and training (VET) within a lifelong learning area. The instrument is intended to develop mutual trust in these systems and to promote mobility and cooperation between Member States. The Commission advocates the use of a common framework and quality indicators to meet the challenges relating to the transparency and consistency of quality assurance measures for VET.
