Vocational streams: linking qualifications and the labour market

This webinar will provide an overview of the main findings arising from the research program 'Vocations: the link between post-compulsory education and the labour market'. The research proposes that vocational streams provide a framework for creating better connections between qualifications and jobs. It also suggests that they can create more adaptable individuals by instilling the basic knowledge required for a number of jobs within a broad vocational field of practice, rather than specific jobs.
