Abstract:

This is the sector skills assessment for manufacturing. The aim of the report is to provide labour market intelligence (LMI) for the sector in order to inform the development of skills policy across the UK. Manufacturing remains a major strength of the UK economy, in spite of growing competition in the global market-place.
