Abstract:

A key function of secondary schools is to prepare students for the future. From this perspective, high quality careers information, advice, guidance and education (CIAGE) can help transform a young person's experience of schooling. In this evaluation, the Education Review Office (ERO) examined the approach of 44 secondary schools to CIAGE.
