Abstract:

This Communication does not aim to provide simplistic answers or one-size-fits-all solutions. It is a toolbox for national governments, social partners and other stakeholders to use when designing their own flexicurity approach. Most of the tools have been taken from real life experiences throughout Europe. They have proven to be successful in practice. Only proactive policies can help us meet the challenges. Flexicurity provides blueprints for such policies.
